Reflecting back at our Ash Wednesday service at Otterbein United Methodist Church

Over 30 wonderful people joined us in our beautiful sanctuary to lay down their burdens at our interactive service.

Worshipers came to our 3 stations to experience burying their little stone as their burdens in the sand, cleansing their hands evoking memories of their baptisms. Spiritually lighter, they then received the mark of the cross as ashes on their foreheads. 

Two Hymnals were led by Choir Director Jonathan Langevin. Two scriptures were read by Diana VanNoy and Patricia Lambert . 

Holy Communion was also served by Pastor Cindy Roberts.
